Kazan State Medical University has met leading European and Russian cardiologists

Kazan State Medical University has met leading European and Russian cardiologists on September, 26th. Everybody could interact with scientists: Prof. Keith Fox, Chairman of the Scientific and Clinical Programme of the ESC; Shliakhto Evgenii Vladimirovich, member of Russian Academy of Sciences; Akchurin Renat Suleimanovich, member of Russian Academy of Sciences; Prof. Panos Vardas, Past President of European Society of Cardiology, Greece.  Health Minister of Tatarstan Republic A.Vafin, head physicians of leading republican hospitals, ICDC, MCH №7, RCH, heads of profile sub-faculties of KSMU, employees, teachers and students of medical university have taken part in the meeting.
Rector of КSМU A.Sozinov has opened the meeting and has noticed that Russian national congress of cardiologists in Kazan had big importance in world community.
Panos Vardas has presented the report on modern trends of diagnostic and preventive care in cardiology and has told about the contribution of young specialists to cardiology development. Keith Fox has presented the application methods of ultra modern technics of diagnostic and prognostication of cardiovascular diseases.
Students were interested by researches in neuroreabilitation conducted by Stem cell bank of КSМU.

After discussion, V.A.Almazov Federal Heart, Blood and Endocrinology Centre and Kazan State Medical University have signed the association agreement. The director of Centre E.V.Shliakhto and rector of КSМU A.S.Sozinov put their signatures in bilateral agreement.
The agreement intends scientific and technical cooperation, development and implementation of educational programs within the limits of continuing post graduate education in cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, perinatology and pediatrics, hematology, molecular biology and genetics, experimental medicine.

The presentation of the book of D.B.Douti «Cardiosurgery. Operations’ technics» under the editorship of R.S.Akchurin has taken place within the limits of the meeting. Renat Akchurin has told about the book which represents the illustrated manual-atlas on operative cardiosurgery and will be useful to cardiosurgeons, and students of medical high schools and faculties. This issuing includes the step-by-step description and color authoring pictures of surgical interventions on heart and large vessels. In the end of the meeting everybody could receive this book.
