Traumatologist of MCH №7 has brought to Kazan a new method of treatment of meniscus lesion

Improvement of the knowledge and skills is the priority of young doctors of Tatarstan. They visit various work-shops, conferences, adopt experience of foreign colleagues. Besides, the conditions, created in the limits of program of health care modernization, give the possibilities for the professional development and practical application of the acquired abilities.

The educational course for the traumatologists who are engaged in arthroscopy of joints has taken place in Poznan (Poland) from December, 1st till December, 5th. Doctors from Vladivostok, St.-Petersburg, Ossetia and the doctor traumatologist of SAHI «Municipal Clinical Hospital №7» R.R.Afletunov have received training. Only 4 persons from all Russia had the possibility to be trained by leading experts of arthroscopy.

The trip has taken place at the support of companies “Deost” and “Smith&Nephew”.

The educational course took place in operational rooms of one of the best medical centers of Poland – Rehasport Clinik. During five days the doctors were trained the techniques of the most demanded operative measures at meniscus lesion: stitches, meniscus transplantation, auto-transplantation of front cruciate ligament (FСL) and arthroscopy of shoulder joint. Work-shops were led by leading experts Tomasz Piontek, Przemislaw Lubiatowski, Witold Dudzinski, Marek Stawniak.

Now Kazan has the specialist possessing knowledge and experience of conducting of auto-transplantation of FСL, transplantations, a meniscus stitch and arthroscopy of shoulder joint.

According to Renat Afletunov, hospitals of Kazan, particularly Municipal Clinical Hospital №7, have better conditions for hi-tech operations, than the European clinics.
