International Anti-Corruption Day

International Anti-Corruption Day is celebrated on December, 9th at the initiative of the United Nations Organization. Convention of the United Nations against corruption (accepted by General Assembly of the United Nations on October, 31st, 2003) has been opened for signing on December, 9th, 2003 in the Mexican city of Merida at political conference of high level. This international agreement provides measures under the corruption warning, punishment guilty, and also international cooperation mechanisms.
