Mobile influenza vaccination stations located at the exits from the metro stations are completing their work due to the worsening weather conditions on September, 17. Residents of the city can be vaccinated against influenza in polyclinics at the place of attachment of policy of obligatory medical insurance during working hours of healthcare institutions without an appointment.

In total, more than 6,500 residents of Kazan were vaccinated against influenza during the work of mobile stations.

Autumn vaccination campaign for children continues in KCMC within the national project "Healthcare".

"Vaccination against seasonal influenza started in August. Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign we have vaccinated more than 6 thousand children. It should be noted that children attending educational institutions are vaccinated actively in order to have the protection before the beginning of the rise in the incidence", – told head of children's clinic of KCMC Catherine Semushkina.

Thematic ten day campaign on the prevention of thyroid diseases is held in Tatarstan Republic from 16 to 25 September.

 The thyroid gland produces hormones that affect metabolic processes. Therefore, disorders of the thyroid gland affect the functioning of the cardiovascular, nervous and reproductive systems.  The most common thyroid diseases are hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, associated with an overabundance or deficiency of thyroid hormones.

524 visits to the emergency room of Children's Municipal Hospital with Perinatal Center of Nizhnekamsk were recorded last week. 80 people applied to the infectious diseases unit, 46 of them were hospitalized.
