The regional championship of young professionals WorldSkills Russia 2019 was held in Kazan. Urakova Madina (Junior skills) and Nazirov Rajabali showed excellent professional competence and became silver medalists in the competence "Medical and social care".
Results of the competition «The best healthcare institution of obstetric and gynecological profile of PFD 2017» were summed up in Kazan (according to the Interdisciplinary Association of Reproductive Specialists - IARS). The award ceremony was held during the opening ceremony of VI all-Russian seminar "Reproductive potential of Russia: Kazan readings", which was attended by leading obstetricians and gynecologists and reproductive scientists of Russia.
Nizhnekamsk physicians and inspectors showed car owners how to provide first aid to victims of accidents. The action was organized by the traffic police together with Healthcare Department of NMD and Medical Prevention Center. It was dedicated to the day of memory of victims of road accidents.
Press conference about cancer in men took place in Inform Agency "Tatar-inform". The event was attended by the head of urology department of Republican Clinical Oncology Center of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic, MD Marat Nasrullayev, head of Endourology Center of Municipal Clinical Hospital № 7 of Kazan Vladimir Perchatkin and urologist-andrologist, sexologist Lyubov Mumladze.
The project "IT in Primary Health Centers" is implemented on the basis of Almetyevsk rural settlements and includes high-speed Internet connection and computer equipment of medical and obstetric centers. All Primary Health Centers are connected to the Internet, equipped with modern computers and equipment for telemedicine consultations with healthcare institutions of Almetyevsk district.
All-Russian Forum of medical students’ teams will take place in Kazan on November, 21-23. 350 young people from all over the country will take part in the forum. The forum participants will be able to expand their knowledge in the field of medical education, science and healthcare, to discuss the role of medical students’ teams in the formation of the future physicians, to learn the best student initiatives in the field of volunteering on the basis of Kazan State Medical University. Resolution will be adopted according to the results of the Forum.
Offices of General practitioners have been opened after repairs in Chistopol. The repairs works have been made within the framework of the Republican program on modernization and strengthening of primary healthcare of Tatarstan Republic in 2017-2018. Institutions began their work in the districts: Brick factory, Mill square and Physicians House.
Retro concert "Era of inspiration" took place in Kazan. It was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the first all-Russian festival of medical universities of the USSR held in 1968. Representatives of the medical community of Tatarstan, veterans of healthcare and medical students gathered at the festive concert in the Assembly Hall of Kazan State Medical University.
Emergency Hospital of Naberezhnye Chelny received a delegation of specialists from St. Petersburg and the Republic of Bashkortostan. Guests visited the hospital in order to exchange experience on the quality management system, got acquainted with the state of the quality management system in the units of the large multidisciplinary hospital.
Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 8337 times during the week. 1202 emergency calls were registered in public places. Paramedics went on accidents 918 times, including 35 road traffic accidents. 39 people were injured, 22 people were taken to hospitals, 1 person has died. 6501 emergency calls were registered for various diseases, including acute myocardial infarction (63 cases) and acute cerebral circulation disorders (161 cases).
