Diabetes trainings took place in three polyclinics of Kazan: in Municipal Polyclinics №10 and №18, Municipal Clinical Hospital №16. The event was organized for patients with diabetes and their families. Endocrinologists and cardiologists told about the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in patients with diabetes, measured blood pressure and answered all the questions of the participants.

Delegation of the Academy of Sciences of Chinese Traditional Medicine of Sichuan province has visited the University Clinic of KFU. The guests have familiarized with the work of the departments, the operating unit, with cardiac surgery and hybrid operating rooms. Special attention was given to the work of the reflexotherapy service of the University Clinic of Kazan Federal University. Head Guzel M. Karimova spoke about the methods used in the department, shared her experience of training in China.

All-Russian multidisciplinary scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kazan traumatologists’ and orthopedists’ school "Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Surgery of injuries of peace time." will be held in Kazan on November, 22-23, 2018. The event will be attended by leading orthopedists, traumatologists, surgeons of various profiles, neurosurgeons, radiologists, anesthesiologists, resuscitators of Russia and CIS and foreign countries. More than 1000 specialists are expected to participate in the conference.

Health Center of Almetyevsk Medical Prevention Center organized a medical examination for people with disabilities on the eve of the day of disabled people, which is celebrated on December, 1. About thirty people working in the reception centers for repair of shoes and clothing of Almetyevsk enterprise of the disabled persons’ society, passed blood sugar and cholesterol tests, checked the sight and condition of the vessels of the lower extremities, measured pressure and received booklets about healthy eating. A consultation was held by the therapist Gayaz Mullakhmetov. Head physician of Almetyevsk Medical Prevention Center Ruslan Khamdiev talked with guests.

Head of the x-ray diagnostic Department of the Republican clinical hospital Boris Nagornykh in the Tatarstan rowing team "Dinamo – KAMAZ" won the first place in the international regatta in Seville (Spain).

V All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Emergency care in modern medical multidisciplinary organization: problems, tasks, prospects" will be held on the basis of "Municipal Clinical Hospital №7" in Kazan on November, 23. The conference is organized by Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic, KSMU and Municipal Clinical Hospital №7 of Kazan.

Delegation of 11 representatives of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology Department of Sichuan province (China) paid a working visit to Almetyevsk.

More than 22 thousand votes were given by Tatarstan citizens in a month, defining the priorities of several state institutions in 2019, including Health Ministry. Now the public councils of these agencies will analyze the results of the voting and sum up the results of the project.

The names of the winners of VI Annual Open National Television Festival of Creativity of Working Youth "Our time" were announced in Kazan. The award ceremony was held as part of the final gala concert.
