1 complaint of frostbite of the hand and wrist has been recorded at the SAHI Mamadysh CDH during this freezing season. At the moment, the patient is in the surgical in-patient facility of the hospital.

According to the WHO, alcohol consumption leads to death and disability at a relatively early stage of life.

Actions in the provision of first aid vary depending on the degree of frostbite, the presence of hypothermia, age and concomitant diseases.

Elza Gabitova, a wonderful physician, head of the Ophthalmology Department of the Nizhnekamsk CDMH, celebrated her golden anniversary.

Results of the contest of videos on hand sanitization have been summed up at the A.F. Agafonov Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital. Doctors note that more than 50% of all infections are transmitted through unwashed hands. At the same time, good hand hygiene, their proper sanitization can preserve health and save lives.   

According to the Emergency Medical Service Station, 39 calls have been received in connection with the abnormally cold weather in the period from January 6 to January 8 (20 –hypothermia and 19 – frostbite).

“Alcohol in the cold weather will not help to warm up; the use of alcohol is a great deception,” says Damir Vagapov, head of the Inpatient Department #1 of the Republican Clinical Narcological Dispensary.

From January 1 to January 8, 7 babies have been born at the Yelabuga Maternity Hospital: 5 girls and 2 boys. On January 1, a girl, Evangeline, has been born at 10:46 AM. She is also the firstborn of young parents Peter Shein and Polina Sheina.

48 babies, 25 girls and 23 boys have been born in the Nizhnekamsk Perinatal Center during the New Year holidays.
