Preventive campaign "Healthy school" is held in Leninogorsky municipal district within the framework of the regional project "Day of United Russia".

Specialists of SAHI "Republican Center of Medical Prevention" take part in the campaign. Doctor of hygiene education spoke about the principles of healthy eating and the importance of compliance with the rules of healthy lifestyle.

Deputy Health Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Semenova visited Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of TR Health Ministry accompanied by TR Health Minister Marat Sadykov, rector of KSMU Alexey Sozinov, Director of KSMU Rustem Khasanov.

Photo exhibition "Skin: lunar landscape" will be held in Gorky Park in Kazan from May, 24 to June 7, 2019. The main purpose of the exhibition is to attract public attention to the problems of such diseases as psoriasis, as well as increase knowledge about its early symptoms and the importance of diagnosis of the disease among the population of Kazan. The photo exhibition consists of 10 images of individual sections of the skin of patients created using macro photography.

The conference was organized in Almetyevsk branch of SAHI "RCOD of TR HM" for primary care physicians (therapists, oncologists, surgeons, urologists, gynecologists) with the participation of lecturers from Kazan and St. Petersburg on May, 20. Head physician of Almetyevsk Oncology Dispensary Sergey Karamalikov welcomed the participants of the conference.

Day of diagnosis of melanoma is celebrated in Russia on May, 20. Melanoma is a skin cancer that develops from a mole.  This tumor disease is now very common everywhere. Unfortunately, people of all ages and genders are subject to it. Women face this disease much more often than men.

XXV Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "Pain medicine: from understanding to action" will be held in Kazan on May, 23-25.

"Jobs’ Fair" took place at medical faculty of I. N. Ulyanov Chuvash State University on May, 16. Representatives of medical institutions not only from the Chuvash Republic, but also from neighboring regions came to the meeting with graduates and residents. 

The marathon of tours in Nizhnekamsk Maternity Hospital for expectant mothers was held from 13 to 17 of May. The idea of its implementation came because of the great interest of pregnant women to this event. 

Kazan hosted a visiting session of National school of gastroenterologists and hepatologists with the participation of the chief gastroenterologist of Health Ministry of Russia, Academician Vladimir T. Ivashkin on May, 16-17. Scientific co-organizers of the session were hospital therapy sub-faculty of KSMU and gastroenterology department of RCH. Presentations were made by Professor Diana I. Abdulganieva and head of gastroenterology department of RCH Alfiya Kh. Odintsova.

May, 20 is World Traumatologist Day. This specialist deals with diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation after injuries of different localization and nature. Most serious traumatic effects affect the musculoskeletal system, nervous and vascular systems; traumatology is closely related to neurosurgery, orthopedics, vascular, septic and burn surgery.
