Scientific-practical conference «Salihovsky readings», devoted to the 205 anniversary of hospital therapy subfaculty of Kazan State Medical University took place in Kazan. Organizers of conference were:  Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic, KSMU, Therapists Society of  Tatarstan Republic with support of Rheumatologists Association of Russia and Nasonov Scientific Research Institute of Rheumatology.

Feldsher and midwifer point have been opened afner major rapairs in village Old Jumraly of Apastovsky district. Feldsher and midwifer point is in one building with rural club. Major repairs have passed under the republican program «Building and major repairs of social-culture objects». The head of Apastovsky district Rashid Zagidullin has told about it in salutatory word.

Republican AIDS centre together with Federation of Trade Unions of Tatarstan Republic has carried out the preventive campaign «Labor day» with organisation of free testing for HIV.

District stage of spartakiad of medical workers of Tatarstan has passed in Menzelinsk. Commands from Aktanyshsky, Muslimovsky, Sarmanovsky, Jutazinsky, Menzelinsky districts have gathered on competitions. Commands competed in six sports: badminton, tennis, track and field athletics, chess, volleyball and rope pulling.

Almetyevsk volunteers-physicians have helped in cleaning of territories of  feldsher and midwifer points within the limits of project «Good into village». The project is organised by Health Ministry of Russia for the purpose of improvement of feldsher and midwifer points’ condition, rising of inhabitants' knowledge about seasonal diseases and rendering them of medical services.

Physician of emergency service of Kazan 7492 times for the week, from them in public places – 1226 calls. Physicians left on accidents 923 times, from them on road and transport incidents – 28 times. 23 persons have suffered in these road accidents, 1 person was lost, 15 persons are delivered in medical institutions. Physicians left on fires 16 times. Physicians left 92 times Station of the first help of Kazan on childbirths. 5839 calls concerning various diseases are executed, from them acute myocardial infarctions – 52, acute disturbances of cerebral circulation – 170.

International Midwife Day is celebrated on May, 5th. Health of the newborn and condition of newly made mum depends on activity of these people.

The midwife of the Children's municipal hospital with perinatal centre of Nizhnekamsk Julia Arnysheva has told about why she chose this profession and what helps her cope with hard work. Already decent experience in obstetric department is behind shoulders of the fragile girl.

Lectures devoted to system of safety of work in public health institutions passed in Chistopolsky CRH on the threshold of World Labour Safety Day  which annually becomes perceptible on April, 28th. It is necessary to notice that the centenary of creation of the International Organisation of Work (IOW) celebration in 2019.

Tatarstan doctors took part in May Day Demonstrations dedicated to the International Workers ' Solidarity Day which is celebrated on May, 1.

 The event was held on the square in front of the Galiaskar Kamal Theater in Kazan with the support of the Federation of trade unions of the Republic of Tatarstan. A festive concert was held for the participants of the May Day Demonstration.
