Head physician of Aktanyshsky CRH A. R. Khaev congratulated the veterans living in the district. 

A solemn event dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held at Hospital for War Veterans in Kazan. 

 Veterans of the healthcare have been congratulated on the upcoming holiday on May, 9 at Kazan Medical College. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers were honored by students and College staff, employees of Health Ministry. Veterans laid flowers at the stele of doctors in memory of the doctors who saved the wounded soldiers at the cost of their live.

Republican Medical Prevention Center held an interdepartmental meeting dedicated to the issues of medical support of the finals of the VII National championship "Young professionals (WORLDSKILLS RUSSIA)" (May 20-24, 2019) and World Championship on professional skills according to the standards of "World skills" in Kazan in 2019.

A festive concert for veterans of the Great Patriotic War was held in Republican Clinical Hospital. 

Recrudescence of joint diseases and the increase in the number of injuries come with the beginning of the summer season. 

Veteran of the war in Afghanistan has died during the rehearsal for Victory Day Parade held on the Millennium Square in Kazan on May, 6. He suddenly lost consciousness during the rehearsal for Parade. The ambulance crew carried out resuscitation activities for 30 minutes, but they were unsuccessful.

Chistopol residents will be able to pass free express HIV testing on May, 15. The event will be held as part of the rally "Nurlat-Chistopol-Kazan" dedicated to the World AIDS Memorial Day (May, 19). The event is aimed at preventing HIV infection, mobilizing society to against AIDS and supporting citizens living with HIV.

Chief freelance toxicologist of Health Ministry Aliya Nasibullina told reporters about first aid after a snake bite. Usually a surge of snake bites occurs in Tatarstan in late May- early June. Now there are two suffered persons – the father and the daughter from Naberezhnye Chelny. 42 people turned to doctors for help after a snake bite in Tatarstan in 2018.

Round table meeting dedicated to the implementation of modules "Anticoagulation" and "Management of cardiovascular risks in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases" took place in Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic. The meeting was attended by first Deputy Health Minister of Tatarstan Republic Almir Abashev, Health Minister of the Arkhangelsk region Anton Karpunov, General Director of "Portavita Health" Mark Slater and project management Director Svetlana Akimova, as well as representatives of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic.
