The ceremony of awarding by TR state awards took place at summing-up meeting of TR Health Ministry. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov presented awards to medical workers.

Summing-up meeting of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held in Kazan.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited Children's Dental Clinic №9 of Kazan in Yamashev av. The building was renovated.

Representatives of Healthcare Department of the Voronezh region and the leadership of Voronezh State Clinical Emergency Hospital have visited Kama Children's Medical Center (KCMC) in Naberezhnye Chelny. The purpose of the visit was to study the experience of practical work in KCMC on the implementation of the recommendations of Roszdravnadzor, the organization of internal quality control and safety of medical activities, as well as the functioning of the quality management system.

Medical students began to provide medical assistance to the population of Zainsky district of Tatarstan Republic in the framework of the campaign "Medical expedition in VFR" on January, 28. Representatives of the Udmurt Republic, the Samara region, the Saratov region, the Republic of Mari El, the Chuvash Republic, the Ulyanovsk region and the Republic of Tatarstan take part in the campaign. Students of Kazan State Medical University and other universities will provide medical and targeted social assistance to the rural population of the district during ten days.

Cardiac surgeons of University Clinic of Kazan Federal University performed prosthetics of the root and ascending aorta, while maintaining its own valve of the patient's heart. The operation lasted 4 hours and was successful. The day after the surgery, the patient was transferred to the ward.

VII Festival of Medicine "Angels in white coats" will take place from 2 to 13 February 2019. 

Every year Medical and Obstetric Care Department of Health Ministry of Russia with the participation of the course of prenatal diagnosis of Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education and Association of specialists of fetal medicine "National Society of Prenatal Medicine" conducts audit of the results of early prenatal screening (EPS) of developmental defects and chromosomal abnormalities in the regions of the Russian Federation. Tatarstan Republic was among the best regions of Russia in view of the results of the audit.

The Grand Prix of the XIV Republican Award "Student- 2018 of Tatarstan Republic" was given to Andrey Anisimov from Kazan State Medical University (KSMU). The final ceremony of the annual award was held on Students Day on the stage of Culture Center "Pyramid". Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Republic Farid Mukhametshin sent the audience the holiday greetings.

Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 8032 times during the week. 1023 emergency calls were registered in public places. Paramedics went on accidents 834 times, including road traffic accidents.  37 people were injured, 20 people were taken to hospitals. 6452 emergency calls were registered for various diseases, including acute myocardial infarction (56 cases) and acute cerebral circulation disorders (191 cases).
