Final medical meeting of surgical service of Tatarstan Republic (TR Surgeon Day) has taken place in Educational Centre of High Medical Technologies.

Federal service for intellectual property (Rospatent) has granted patents on inventions developed by employees of Republican Clinical Hospital of TR Health Ministry. One of the new developments of physicians of the hospital is treating method of hallux valgus distal humerus with a false joint of the head elevation of the humerus at children.

The theme of the Symposium is "Trends" in thoracic surgery". More than 250 practicing surgeons from the regions of Russia, CIS countries and Europe will learn new methods in thoracic surgery.
8791 emergency calls were registered in Emergency Station of Kazan during the period from 19.02.18 to 25.02.18. 1186 calls were registered in public places. Many calls (7069) were about various diseases, including 197 acute cerebral circulation disorders and 59 heart attacks. The paramedics went to accidents1023 times, including 32 road accidents with 31 injured people (16 of them were taken to hospitals).
The all-Russian forum on the quality of medical education has finished in Kazan. Students and staff of 29 medical and pharmaceutical universities of Russia have met at Kazan State Medical University.They have discussed how to improve academic performance and motivation, how to optimize it with the help of information technologies and how students can improve the quality of education.
