The new unit of palliative care was found on the basis of treatment pavilion №3 of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital. TR Health Minister Adel Vafin and Assistant to President Minnikhanov Leyla Fazleeva have visited today the new unit.

Walking is the best way to raise the motion activity. Walking affects well all vital functions of body:  heart rhythm, breathing, ventilation of the lungs. Walking is especially useful for people suffering cardiovascular diseases and leading inactive life style.

Twenty first century "has presented" hypodynamia to the modern people. This disease represents the attenuation of muscular activity caused by insufficient physical activity. By estimates of experts, more than half of population of our planet suffers from hypodynamia. It’s time to raise alarm.

The modern achievements of oncologic service allow improve life quality of the patient, social rehabilitation, certain results of treatment or the palliative care. The patients suffering progressing chronic oncologic diseases in end-stage (irreversible changes) need implementation of various forms of palliative care.

The palliative care unit was opened on July, 2nd, 2016. The unit has got 9 beds with consoles, the diagnostic equipment, staff lounge with telemedicine technologies, office of the psychologist, the room for instruction of parents and service space.

TR Health Minister Adel Vafin has met today the participants of VI Republican Youth Forum «Our Tatarstan». The participants have presented 4 medical projects.

Oncologists have paid attention that married people had melanoma and skin cancer less often. This information was declared today by Professor of oncology, actinology and palliative medicine sub-faculty of КSМА Zynaida Afanaseva to news agency "Tatars-inform" during press conference.
