II All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation dedicated to Alexander Ph. Samoilov "Fundamental and clinical electrophysiology of the heart. Topical issues of arrhythmology" took place in Kazan. April 7, 1867 was the birthday of the Great Russian physiologist, pupil of Pavlov and Sechenov, colleague and friend of V. Eintkhoven. His name is inscribed in the world history of cardiac electrophysiology in golden letters.
