Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic informs about detection of the closed form of tuberculosis of lungs at one of foreign students.

The patient came to the attention of physicians in the summer 2018 during the study of Russian in Moscow. Non-specific treatment was carried out and had a positive effect. The patient was recommended to stay under the supervision of phthisiatrist at the place of temporary registration. Information about him was transferred to healthcare institution according to the established procedure.

Student refused medical care and avoided medical examination after entering the Kazan University. He requested medical assistance only after the appearance of severe cough.
