"Health center" on the basis of Municipal Clinical Hospital №16 of Kazan has seen the 40-th thousand patient. Health Center has been conducting a comprehensive examination of the adult population from 19 to 85 years since December 2009. The main purpose of screening is to identify risk factors for socially significant diseases (cardiovascular, musculoskeletal system, diabetes). It includes measurements of height, weight, ratio of fat, water and muscle mass, testing on hardware and software for assessing the level of psychophysical and somatic health and reserves of the body, express test of the heart in ECG, diagnosis of deep joints of the extremities, tests for cholesterol and glucose, examination of lung function and ocular fundus. According to the results of the screening, each patient receives an individual consultation with a specialist indicating the necessary additional examinations.
