The meeting of the working group on the project "Sobriety point" took place in Nizhnekamsk. It was attended by experts from Children's Municipal Hospital with Perinatal Center. The sobriety point is a comprehensive alcohol dependence treatment program that combines 2 forms of influence on the patient. Pharmacotherapy is a course of taking special drugs that reduce craving for alcohol and psychotherapy aimed at the formation of a sober lifestyle, the formation of safe and comfortable behavior in situations that provoke a breakdown. The advantages of the program include the fact that 53 % of patients are in remission for more than a year after the end of a 6-month course of therapy.
