Hypospadia is a congenital malformation of the external genitals; it occurs mainly in boys and manifests itself in the wrong location of the external opening of the urethra. It is combined with underdevelopment or absence of the lower wall of the final part of the urethra. The most severe manifestation of the pathology is the scrotal form of hypospadia: the outer opening of the urethra opens on the scrotum, splitting it into 2 parts.
