Physicians of RCH have been trained in Germany

Head of the angiography office of RCH, surgeon Andrey Teregulov and surgeon Alexander Postnikov were trained at the Katharinen hospital clinic in Stuttgart (Germany) by Professor Hans Henkes. Professor Henkes is a world leader in Neuro-radiology, he was the first in the world to conduct endovascular thromboextraction from the cerebral artery in acute ischemic stroke, which subsequently led to the development of a whole direction and saved tens of thousands of lives. During the internship Tatarstan specialists participated in more than 25 operations on brain vessels conducted by the Professor.
