Neurosurgeons of ICDC performed an operation to remove a rare brain tumor for the first time in Tatarstan

51-year-old resident of Kazan with hemangioblastoma of the brain stem was successfully operated in neurosurgery unit of ICDC. This is a rare dangerous tumor, which is diagnosed in 2-3% of all brain tumors. Patients with this pathology are usually directed to the treatment in large federal centers. However, this patient decided to be operated in Kazan, in ICDC.
