ICDC surgeons gave a new life to the young man suffered from cyatonic heart lesion

19 August 2019, Monday

Denis Tsvetkov, a resident of Tatarstan, celebrated his 38th birthday in the circle of relatives in ICDC. The festive table was laid in the bistro of the center. It was the double birthday holiday (according to the passport and after operation).

Denis Tsvetkov suffered from a serious congenital heart defect (Fallot’s tetralogy). Such pathology should be treated in early childhood, because the mortality rate in this disease exceeds 80% with aging. The fact, that the young man lived to 38 years old, is unique. The work of the cardiac surgeons’ team under the guidance of the chief specialist in the field of "cardiac surgery" of ICDC, MD, Professor, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation Roin K. Georgikia is also unique.
