The policy of obligatory medical insurance is the document certifying the right of the insured person for receiving a medical care free of charge in all the territory of the Russian Federation in the volume stipulated by the base program of obligatory medical insurance.

Persons, who are insured by the obligatory medical insurance till January, 1st, 2011, possess the rights of insured persons according to the Federal law of 29.11.2010г. №326-ФЗ «On obligatory medical insurance in the Russian Federation». The insured have the right for reception of a well-timed and qualitative medical care practically in all state medical institutions, and also right to choose medical institution and the attending physician.

The primary goals of the insurance company are protection of the rights and interests of the insured citizens, the control of volumes, terms and quality of medical care.
