Because of ulcer: causes and effects

The stomach and duodenum peptic ulcer is one of the most widespread pathologies of a gastrointestinal tract, and in general structure of the disease incidence as a whole. About it the data of WHO statistics report. On the average in population prevalence of the given pathology constitutes approximately (considering different countries) from 6 to 12 %. Somewhere it is more, somewhere it is less. And as leading gastroenterologists of Russia and the foreign countries note, the number of patients grows in civilized countries.
If before the XXth century basically the stomach peptic ulcer was the most common, so at the beginning of XXth century a duodenum peptic ulcer became the prerogative. The reasons of this phenomenon are poorly studied, but it is supposed that it is due to urbanization, technogenization, and, of course, much depends on the diet.
