Cystic fibrosis children's center was opened in Kazan

Previously, patients with this disease were treated in the pulmonology department of CRCH, and now they have a separate center.

Children's center of cystic fibrosis was opened on the basis of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of Tatarstan.

Cystic fibrosis is an autosomal genetic disease that is transmitted to the child from mom or dad, who are carriers of this gene. Screening for five diseases, including cystic fibrosis in newborns has been made in Tatarstan since 2006.
