Events dedicated to World Heart Day were held in Tatarstan

Preventive events dedicated to World Heart Day (September, 29) were held in Tatarstan hospitals.

Chief cardiologist of TR Health Ministry Zulfiya Kim took part in press conference dedicated to World Heart Day in IA "Tatar-inform". She announced that the preventive events will take place in Central regional hospitals of Tatarstan. Examinations with measurement of arterial and intraocular pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol and consultations of cardiologists took place during the week. Physicians talked about the risk factors for diseases of the circulatory system, prevention of cardiovascular diseases, the principles of healthy lifestyle and nutrition during the lectures.
