March of 10,000 steps was held in Kazan on World Heart Day. Participants of the campaign measured blood pressure and received recommendations of cardiologists on prevention of cardiovascular diseases and observance of rules of healthy lifestyle. After the start, the organized column followed the route from the beginning of the Kremlin embankment to the Millennium bridge.
10,000 steps is the norm for every day for an adult. Prevention of cardiovascular diseases is inextricably linked with compliance with the rules of healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity.
