The incidence and prevalence of HIV infection in Tatarstan is twice less than in Russia. This information was presented at a press conference in the nNws Agency "Tatar-inform" according to Deputy head physician of Republican Center for AIDS Prevention and Control Firaya Nagimova.

In general, the indicators of HIV infection in Tatarstan Republic in terms of morbidity and prevalence are two times less than the average in the Russian Federation.
