Kazan State Medical University is the first University in the Russian Federation, which is internationally accredited by the standards of World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).

The work of the Expert Commission of Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency has started in KSMU on December, 2. It conducts external expertise of the University according to the standards of World Organization of Medical Education.
