A record number of operations for patients with Parkinson's disease were performed by neurosurgeons of ICDC

High-tech assistance to people suffering from Parkinson's disease has reached a new level in Tatarstan. Interregional Clinical Diagnostic Center (ICDC) is the only clinic in the PFD, where patients are treated by a unique effective method of deep brain stimulation. The team of neurosurgeons of the center carried out this year a record number of operations (15). All interventions were performed in patients with Parkinson's disease in the late stages and different forms: with a predominance of rigidity, tremor or drug complications on the background of their intensive use.
