The number of laparoscopic operations increased in pediatric surgery

The number of operations performed by the laparoscopic method increased in the children's hospital of Kama Children's Medical Center of Naberezhnye Chelny in 2019. This was announced by the head of the surgical service of the children's hospital of KCMC, a pediatric surgeon Marat Nasybullin. Last year, 226 operations were performed in the surgical and urological department of the children's hospital (there were only 32 operations in 2018).

Laparoscopic surgery is an integral part of pediatric surgery worldwide. This modern method is considered less traumatic for the child's body.
