All-Russian Donor Week started in Kazan
Tatarstan Republic has joined the All-Russian donor campaign # Stay a Donor, which started on June 8, 2020.
All-Russian Donor Week is planned in the territory of the Russian Federation in the blood service institutions from June, 8 to June, 15, 2020. It is timed to coincide with World Blood Donor Day celebrated annually on June, 14.
The donor comes from the Latin "donare" - to give. Life is often a gift to the recipient in the case of blood donors. 1 donation saves 3 lives.
The purpose of the campaign # Stay a Donor is the opportunity to get together, do a good deed in the name of saving human lives and support the donor movement!
The first day of the campaign started with a joint event with the non-profit organization “Good Kazan” and the DonorSearch.org project. Minister of Youth Affairs of TR Damir Fattakhov was the first to participate in the campaign, then the head of the State Housing Inspectorate of Tatarstan Republic - the main state housing inspector of Tatarstan Republic Sergey Krainov joined.
85 donors donated blood on June 8, 2020 and the blood bank replenished by 38 liters.
