Head of the HR Department Lyudmila Zotova considers attracting specialists to work in the Nizhnekamsk Central District Multi-specialty Hospital a priority task for her team. What steps are being taken to avoid personnel shortage? How does the state support young doctors today? What specialists do we need in particular? During the interview, Lyudmila Anatolyevna answered these and other questions in detail."Lyudmila Anatolyevna, what is the priority when solving the personnel issue?"

"If we are talking about priorities, they are primarily related to national projects. One of them is the provision of personnel for outpatient clinics, which helps solve the accessibility of primary health care. We are interested not only in attracting young specialists to polyclinics, but also in keeping the existing medical staff here. Unfortunately, we often face a situation when a novice doctor, having gained experience, decides to go to a big city. It turns out that all our efforts to raise a professional in our hospital are futile.
For several years, we have been attracting doctors following the schedule for attracting specialists. We make an annual plan of visits to medical schools. Unfortunately, this year, due to the epidemiological situation, visits were suspended. But at the beginning of the year, we still managed to attend the graduates' employment events in Kazan and Izhevsk. We talk about the hospital, the city, social guarantees, and support measures at such meetings. Our main flagship is Izhevsk. A lot of graduates from Nizhnekamsk schools study there.
Nevertheless, we want our people who know the city and care for it to return to Nizhnekamsk. Kazan ranks second in the popularity rating. Also, we actively invite medical graduates from Perm, Samara, and Ufa.
The chief medical officer, Khabibulla Akhmedov, travels annually to Saratov, Makhachkala, and Volgograd. They know us there. They send us invitations, and they can't do such meetings without us. And of course, it brings the results. The popularization of our hospital, city, and the republic depends, among other things, on the position of the chief physician. We have already moved beyond the borders of the Volga Federal district. We have already moved on, many people already know about us. And I would like to say that it is good to attract doctors to a well-maintained city. Young professionals want to work in comfortable places with a suitable material base. We are not ashamed to show our city. We are not embarrassed to show our renovated clinics. The hospital is currently undergoing repairs, and medical equipment is updated continuously,  which we are also pleased about."
