8 September 2020, Tuesday

The doctors of the Republican Clinical Hospital of Tatarstan rescued a man who was gored by a bull when he was picking mushrooms.

At the end of August, a 62-year-old man and his wife set off to collect mushrooms in the Kukmor district of the Republic of Tatarstan. An elderly couple accidentally got to pasture, where they were attacked by a bull. The woman wasn’t injured, but the man was thrown by the bull, and then dragged several meters along the ground.

The man's ribs and collarbone were broken.

Initially, the elderly patient was treated in the Kukmor CRH, but the condition began to deteriorate, due to the fact that broken ribs damaged the lung. The man was immediately transported to Kazan by helicopter of the RCH air ambulance.
