14 September 2020, Monday

In Kazan, they began to vaccinate against the flu near metro stations. About 140 residents of Kazan were vaccinated against the flu near the "Kozya Sloboda" station. Elvira Ibatullina, an epidemiologist at the polyclinic of Kazan Clinical Hospital #7, which administers vaccinations, told the correspondent of the "Tatar-inform" news agency.

The doctor said that before, 200 vaccinations could be done from 8.00 to 18.00. This year more people want to get vaccinated. Indeed, by lunchtime, there was a small queue. Everyone who wants to get vaccinated fills out a leaflet with information about themselves before entering an ambulance vehicle.

A woman waiting in line for vaccination told the agency that she chooses a mobile team for vaccination every year because the mobile point is near her house. "I even came twice specifically, they [medics] were not there, they arrived only today," she said.

Vladimir Zhavoronkov, the Deputy Minister of Health of the RT and the head of the Health Department for Kazan, announced the start of the vaccination campaign stations at "Tatar-inform" news agency press conference.

"Our teams are present near most metro stations, and an ambulance vehicle is a sign of identification. I remind you that the vaccination will take place for three weeks," the Deputy Minister said.

This week, mobile medical teams work from 8.00 to 14.00, next week-from 12.00 to 18.00. From September 28 to October 3, vaccinations will be offered according to the first week's schedule. Vladimir Zhavoronkov urged residents to take part in vaccination before or after work, since doctors adjust time schedules to accommodate citizens who work.

You can get vaccinated at the exits of the following metro stations: "Aviastroitelnaya", "Yashlek", "Kozya Sloboda", "Tukaya Square", "Sukonnaya Sloboda", "Ametyevo", "Prospekt Pobedy" and " Dubravnaya".
