Russian Congress of Cardiologists will be held in Kazan
Kazan will host the Russian National Congress of Cardiology. About a thousand specialists will participate face-to-face, and more than 10 thousand will join the forum in absentia. Albert Galyavich, Vice-President of the Russian Society of Cardiology and chief part-time cardiologist of the Volga Federal District, head of the Department of cardiology of Kazan State Medical University, told at a press conference in the "Tatar-inform" news Agency.
Broadcast of the event will be able to see all interested doctors, they may be more than 10 thousand. Foreigners due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic will not come to Kazan and will participate remotely – more than ten reports of foreign experts are planned.
The doctor said that a total of 160 symposiums are expected to be held from September 29 to October 1.
"This is the annual Congress of the Russian Society of Cardiology, one of the largest professional medical communities in Russia with more than 7 thousand members. Every year the Congress is held in different cities. These are Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan and Yekaterinburg. Only four cities were honored to hold the Congress, because there are certain requirements," Albert Galyavich said.
