Republican Center of Preventive Medicine told about helping elderly patients
A methodological seminar was held in the Republican Center for Medical Prevention The seminar program covered topics dedicated to the Heart Day, September, 29 and the International Day of Older People, October, 1.
The health of the elderly was covered by the geriatrician of city polyclinic #10. in Kazan, Dr. A. Sh. Davletyarova. In her speech, she spoke about the geriatric office's activities, about medical care for patients who have crossed the 65-year threshold.
Dr. M. A. Sobanova, an interim head of the Cardiology Department #3 of the State Clinical Hospital #7, spoke on preventing cardiovascular diseases. She touched upon avoiding heart diseases, the main risk factors leading to CVD, and gave secondary prevention recommendations.
