Physicians of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital performed a surgical operation using 3D technology

The physicians of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital performed laparoscopic treatment of varicocele using a 3D laparoscope. This technology allows you to view the entire "operational field" in a voluminous format and more accurately navigate in spatial.

The use of 3D technologies allows you to increase the speed and accuracy of performing surgical manipulations. The laparoscopic volumetric imaging system transmits a high-definition image to a 3D liquid crystal monitor, stably, throughout the surgical operation, while maintaining the image focus at any depth of vision.

- A 3D camera differs from a 2D one in that in the workspace we see the distance from one object to another, i.e. in three-dimensional space. The depth of the image, the distance between objects is more accurate. And we can already work with tools more freely, accurately. All manipulations are performed more accurately and this is great. The 3D image is created by two cameras, like in a movie theater, changing alternately, commented Aidar Zakirov.
