Nizhnekamsk has joined the campaign "Together Against Breast Cancer", which is held as part of the all-Russia "Let’s Save Mom's Life" project.
The regional branch of the "Mothers of Russia" movement was the event organizer, which was held at the Nizhnekamsk Chemical and Technological Institute. Employees of the Center for Medical Prevention, together with medical volunteers, told students about cancer prevention and distributed thematic literature. The Deputy chief physician of the Central Medical Center Ilmir Vazikov answered the ladies' questions about the risk factors for breast cancer and where to get tested.
Recall that since the beginning of the year, breast cancer has been detected in 81 female residents of Nizhnekamsk, most of them in the early stages. A total of 1,538 people are on the city’s registry for this disease. Doctors once again recommend that women examine themselves, palpate their breasts, and treat gynecological diseases on time. If lumps or seals in the breast are detected, a physician should be contacted promptly.
