Sergey Meryasev became the head of the Nizhnekamsk Health Directorate

Today, Sergey Meryasev took up the post of head of the Nizhnekamsk Health Directorate. The former head Venera Rashidovna Rakhimova left her position on October 28 at her own request due to moving to another city.

Sergey Nikolaevich has 25 years of experience in medicine and the title of Honored Physician of the Republic of Tatarstan. He followed in the footsteps of his mother Raisa Meryaseva – town’s prominent cardiologist and Honored Physician of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, head of the Medical-diagnostic Department of          in-patient facility of Nizhnekamsk Central District Multifunctional Hospital.⠀

In 1996, Sergey Meryasev graduated from Kazan State Medical University, in the same year he was appointed to the Central District Hospital as a therapist. In 1998, he was transferred to the position of head of the Department of Diagnostics and Paid Services. In 2009, he was appointed to the post of deputy chief physician for diagnostics. In 2011, Sergey Nikolaevich became the chief physician of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Consilium", and in 2012 he returned to the Nizhnekamsk hospital as deputy chief physician for diagnostics. He worked as the deputy chief physician for polyclinic work of the Nizhnekamsk Central District Multifunctional Hospital since 2015.
