The regional stage of the Abilimpex National Championship took place in Nizhnekamsk
A regional stage of the Abilimpix National Championship of professional skills for people with disabilities was held in Nizhnekamsk. The visually impaired nursing college students and specialists from Kazan and Al'metyevsk competed in two categories of the Massage Therapist competence. Nizhnekamsk was represented by five people out of 8 competitors, who are now third-year nursing college students.
The competition consisted of two stages. The contestants demonstrated classic and arbitrary massage, such as anti-cellulite, Spanish, Hawaiian, and osteopathic. The experts were specialists from urban health care institutions, which have received special training. During the competition, they assessed the collection of anamnesis, the order of massage techniques, starting with strokes, kneading and vibration.
In the Students category, Evgeny Akulov took first place, and in the Specialists category, the prize went to Rustem Mingulov from Al’metyevsk. Both will defend Tatarstan's honor in the National Championship, which will occur in late November in Moscow.
