On November 30, the oncologist Rodion Segal Evgenyevich defended his thesis in the Dissertation Council of the Rostov-on-Don Medical Academy.
The thesis advisor of the work was Professor Mikhail Vladimirovich Burmistrov, deputy chief physician of the State Autonomous Healthcare Institution Republican Clinical Hospital of the Republic of Tatarstan. This work is devoted to the endosurgical treatment of benign esophageal tumors - rare but difficult-to-remove neoplasms.
The researchers presented more than twenty years of material from two clinics: the Republican Clinical Hospital and the Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary. According to the Council's experts, the work has no analogues in Russia and Europe.
