A round table on the topic "Autistic Spectrum Disorders as a Medical and Social Problem: Science-based Personalized Approaches to Treatment, Diagnosis and Integration in the Social Environment" was held at the Kazan State Medical University. The project by that name was implemented by an interdisciplinary group of university scientists with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (project 18-00-01529).
The round table, moderated by the First Vice-Rector, participant of the project "Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders: the Problem of Social Integration in the Context of the Convergence of Biomedical and Social Humanistic Paradigm of Knowledge" L. M. Mukharyamova, was attended by university professors, employees of the Health Directorate of Kazan, chief physicians of medical organizations, specialists of the main office of medical and social assessment. The Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Work and Higher Nursing Education M. N. Maksimova.
