Students of the Nizhnekamsk branch of Kazan Innovative University were reminded how important it is not to succumb to bad habits. Employees of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention and medical volunteers met with the students who are studying in the first and second year science courses.
Before the lecture, the volunteers organized a flash mob, which was joined by students and teachers, and then everyone checked their blood sugar levels, measured their height, weight, blood pressure and the level of carbon monoxide in the exhaled air.
Out of 50 people only 3 are underweight, 4 are overweight. Another 7 had elevated blood pressure, and 2 had slightly elevated blood sugar levels. Indicators of carbon monoxide in the body are all within the normal range.
