Kazan doctors have saved a woman with sepsis who was dying after a miscarriage

About 20 specialists fought for the life and health of the patient for 42 days in the clinic of Kazan Medical University.

Specialists of the Kazan Medical University clinic managed to save a woman with sepsis. A 26-year-old mother of three was admitted to the hospital's gynecologists five days after a spontaneous miscarriage that occurred at home. Specialists diagnosed a blood infection and septic shock.

"The woman admitted to us already in a state of sepsis. The process was launched at all levels so that it was very difficult to get the patient out of the state. It was both a fever, and serious deviations of the medical tests, even impairment of consciousness were due to the fact that there was a serious infection in the body," said Maxim Kuznetsov, Deputy chief physician of the medical unit of the hospital.

The doctor reminded that sepsis is the content of a large number of infections and microbes in the blood, which cause all sorts of side effects.
