In Tatarstan, the incidence of alcohol addiction has decreased by 30% compared with the previous year.

However, the death rate from alcoholic intoxication remained at the same level, according to the Republican Bureau of forensic medical examination. In 2020, there were 187 cases, last year there was one less.

The narcologist noted that self-isolation due to a new coronavirus infection did not adversely affect Tatarstan residents, the situation with Covid-19 forced residents to form a responsible attitude to their health.
