The paramedic of the emergency medical service station of Nizhnekamsk CRMH Ruslan Kashtymov became the recipient of the "Heroes of Our Time" award. In total, 64 Tatarstan citizens have been awarded, including doctors, police officers, volunteers, and Tatarstan citizens of different ages. All these caring and brave people did not pass by someone else's misfortune and extended a helping hand to those who needed it.

Recall that in early August, Kashtymov saved a man's life while on holiday in Sochi. The incident occurred on the beach. Vacationers saw a man drowning in the sea. By that time, the drowning man had swallowed some seawater. Rescuers pulled him out, but the man was no longer breathing. Ruslan Anatolyevich was nearby, and he immediately reacted and carried out resuscitation measures for the victim before the ambulance arrived. Immediately after that, the man regained consciousness.

Ruslan Kashtymov has been in his profession for 13 years. The staff of Nizhnekamsk hospital appreciates its employee for his professionalism and dedication.

The humble paramedic does not consider himself a hero but comments on his heroic act: "This is a normal job for me, and I could not stay away."

Ruslan Anatolyevich, congratulations to you! We are proud! We wish you success and strong health!
