The Diocesan Administration of Chistopol discussed a set of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection

On January 13, the Diocesan Administration of Chistopol held a meeting to discuss a set of measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in the diocese territory.

 

The event was attended by Bishop Ignatii of Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk, the fathers-deans of the church deanery districts, and deans' assistants. At a meeting with the clergy were invited: the Deputy head of the City of Chistopol municipality Michael Ksenofontov, head of territorial Department of management of Federal service on supervision in of protection of consumer rights and human welfare sphere for the Republic of Tatarstan in Chistopol, Spassk, Alekseevsk, Novosheshminsk districts Flyura Khairullina, chief doctor of Central Municipal Hospital of Chistopol Rais Mustafin, Deputy head of the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation in Chistopol area Vasily Kuzmin. Bishop Ignatii addressed all present with a welcoming speech.

During his speech, the ruling bishop called on the clergy to strictly follow the sanitary services' instructions and carry out all necessary anti-epidemic measures on the territory of the churches of the Chistopol diocese.

The head of the Chistopol territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor, Flura Khairullina, reported on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Chistopol municipal district and the prevention of coronavirus infection. She told about the current sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Chistopol municipal district, coronavirus infection features, and measures for its prevention. She appealed to the audience to observe disinfection and masking regimes on churches' territory and the observance of social distance during services.

Deputy head of the City of Chistopol municipal formation Mikhail Ksenofontov reported ongoing activities aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in the district. During the meeting, Rais R. Mustafin spoke about a temporary infectious hospital based on the city's second central hospital and about measures on rendering medical aid to patients with community-acquired pneumonia and novel coronavirus infection.

Separately, the chief physician reported on the beginning of vaccination of the population, first of all, among medical workers with a two-component vector vaccine against COVID-19 - Gam-COVID-Vak, the trademark Sputnik V.  "To form immunity, vaccination against COVID-19 consists of two stages of administration. The second stage of administration is carried out 21 days after the first. On January 6, the second component of the Gam-COVID-Vak vaccine was introduced to previously vaccinated medical workers," Rais Robertovich said. He believes that mass vaccination will stop the coronavirus pandemic and shared his personal experience  with the second phase of vaccination. "I feel good, live an everyday intensive life, go to work, and do not experience discomfort," said the chief doctor.

Deputy chief of police Department of Chistopol area Vasily Kuzmin reported at the end of the meeting. He spoke about the measures implemented to detect and prevent violations of the established rules and prosecute perpetrators connected with mask mode failure in terms of the spread of coronavirus infection.
