Employees of the Branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the action Box of Courage by organizing the collection of toys and their transfer to the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital.
Overcoming fear and pain every day, young patients are terrified of treatment rooms. After all, all the worst things happen to them there: puntures, bandages, placing and flushing of catheters, IVs, and other things that are already incompatible with childhood. And sometimes, kids are scared of even a simple check-up.
"We are not medical professionals, and we can't come up with a cure for all diseases," Eduard Vafin, the Department of the RPF manager for the Republic of Tatarstan, addressed his colleagues.
"But the little that we can do is to please the children, who in their short lives have already had to endure so many unpleasant procedures, which many adults have not seen in their entire lives. And let the joy of the gift that the child will receive for his bravery help him or her to get better faster."
There is such a "magic" box in the treatment room now. It contains small gifts that help to dry children's tears and not even allow them to appear. These are prizes for courage.
