Vladimir Filatov was appointed Chief Physician of the City Children’s Hospital #1 of Kazan

By order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vladimir Filatov was appointed to the post of Chief Physician of the State Autonomous Healthcare Institution City Children's Hospital #1 of Kazan.

By order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vladimir Filatov was appointed to the post of Chief Physician of the State Autonomous Healthcare Institution City Children's Hospital #1 of Kazan.

He was born on June 15, 1974. In 1997, he graduated with honors from the Kazan State Medical University with a degree in Medical Science. In 1997-1998, he completed an internship, and in 1998-2000, a residency in neurosurgery at the Department of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Medical Genetics with a course in Neurosurgery at Kazan State Medical University.

He began his career in 1993 in the City Clinical Hospital #6 of Kazan as an orderly; from 1995 to 1997 he worked as a male nurse in the receiving room.

In 2000, he joined the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital as a neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery. In 2014, he was appointed Deputy Chief Physician for Surgical Care of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital. Since 2018 – Chief part-time specialist – pediatric surgeon of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
