The AIDS Center summed up the results of its work for 2020

A meeting of the final Medical Council of the Republican Center for the Fight against AIDS and Infectious Diseases was held in Kazan, where they spoke about the results of their activities for 2020 and the tasks for 2021.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of Tatarstan Farida Yarkaeva, the head of the Roszdravnadzov  of the RT Lubov' Shaikhutdinova, the head of the Department of Sanitary Protection of the territory of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan Luisa Borisova, the head of the Federal State Institution of Health "Medic - Sanitary department #16" of the Federal Government Service of Russia Petr Anisimov, the leaders of the Republican institutions, the heads of specialized departments, leaders of non-profit organizations, staff of the AIDS Centre and its branches.

The Chief Physician Niyaz Galiullin made the main report on the results of the activity. He noted that the collaborative work of all employees of the AIDS Center, the professionalism of medical staff helped to provide continuity of medical care and antiviral therapy for HIV-infected, to achieve the plan targets of priority measures in the context of the new coronavirus infection. Also, Niyaz Galiullin identified the priority tasks of the service AIDS in the Republic of 2021, the main goal of achieving target indicators of the State strategy for combating the spread of HIV by 2030.

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Firaya Nagimova presented "The problems and solutions of providing medical care to HIV-infected people in the context of a new coronavirus infection." Luiza Borisova and Lyubov Shaikhutdinova reported also.

Farida Yarkaeva thanked all the staff of the AIDS Centre and wished to further the work of the conservation of achievement and success. The Medical Council ended with the awarding of the center's employees.
